Written Comments for SALMON Season Alternatives due to PFMC by April 2

CALL TO ACTION: Get your written comments into the PFMC Council before their next meeting on April 5. Your comments need to be in by April 2! Comments should be regarding the two salmon season fishing date alternative options or the third option to close the 2024 salmon season to protect the species. Your written comments will be public and read by Council Members to recommend to CDFW.

The Council needs to receive your comments on the proposed management alternatives in preparation for adopting final salmon management recommendations at the April 5, 2024 Council meeting.
Public comment will be accepted in person at the hearing, and written comments (DEADLINE APRIL 2) can be submitted electronically via e-portal in advance of the April 5-11 PFMC Council meetings. To comment on SALMON, find Agenda Items E2 and E6 and sign up to insert your written comment.
- Comment on what alternative option you would want to see for the 2024 season: Option 1, or Option 2, or Option 3 (closure to protect the species)
