One million juvenile salmon fry into flooded rice fields near the Yolo Bypass
IN THE NEWS: This week, in partnership with stakeholders from the Bridge Group, Coleman National Fish Hatchery is releasing nearly one million juvenile salmon fry into flooded rice fields near the Yolo Bypass.
These young fish will spend time growing in the nutrient-rich rice fields before entering the Sacramento River and beginning their journey to the Pacific Ocean.
