There will be an opportunity for questions after each presentation using the Zoom Q&A feature. Participants may type questions into the Q&A box to be read aloud by a meeting moderator. The Q&A feature is only available to attendees who join the meeting via web browser or zoom application. For those with questions after presentations, please follow the guidelines below:
• Type questions into the Zoom Q&A box
• Questions will be read aloud by the moderator
• Questions will be taken as time allows
• Please keep questions concise, considerate, and relevant to the topic of discussion
Due to the volume of attendees in recent years following the transition to a virtual platform, CDFW will be receiving comments on ocean salmon season development through an online survey as opposed to the traditional open panel discussion.
The survey link will be made available during the meeting and posted alongside the meeting’s informational materials on CDFW’s salmon preseason process webpage and will close Sunday, March 2nd at 11:59pm.
Please keep feedback appropriate, constructive, and relevant to the development of 2025 ocean salmon fishing seasons.
Persons with disabilities needing reasonable accommodation to participate in public meetings are invited to contact the CDFW’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office at (916) 902-9097 or via email at EEO@wildlife.ca.gov. Requests for meeting accessibility should be received as soon as possible prior to the meeting to ensure the request can be accommodated.
